More Cast and Song Artists Released for Upcoming TV Anime ‘Aharen-san wa Hakarenai’

Asato Mizu’s Aharen-san wa Hakarenai or in English Aharen is Indecipherable TV anime adaptation is premiering this coming April. On Sunday, the anime’s official website unveiled three more cast members, the theme song artists, as well as the second key visual. 

The cast members joining the upcoming TV anime are the following: Tetsuya Kakihara as Ishikawa, Tomori Kusunoki as Hanako, and Yurie Kozakai as Ms. Miyahara. 

The other already confirmed cast members are Inori Minase as the protagonist Reina Aharen and Takuma Terashima as Raido. 

On December 18, 2021, the 2nd promotional video (PV) for the romantic comedy was released.

The opening theme song for Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is titled “Inseperable Distance,” while the closing theme song is called “A Sense of Distance.” TrySail will be performing the opening, while HaKoniwalily the closing song.

The manga was first launched in 2017 and it currently has 12 volumes in circulation.

The romantic comedy centers on the heroine Aharen, a tiny and extremely shy girl. Sitting next to her in school is Raidou, a stoic boy who doesn’t smile. On top of her shyness, Aharen does not know what personal space means. She’s seen inches away from her classmates’ faces when she wants to talk. The story follows the budding relationship between the unlikely seatmates.
