Recent talks surrounding upcoming DLCs for Mortal Kombat 1 have left us with more questions than answers. The rumors started with reports of a canceled DLC project. A well-known dataminer, Thethiny, discovered some curious updates in the files. These updates hinted at changes involving Kombat Pack 2, which many of us were looking forward to.

Thethiny’s findings suggest that certain character slots were removed, which might explain why some characters we anticipated might not make the cut.

To make things even more intriguing, names like Cyrax, Noob Saibot, and Kano popped up in these speculations. We thought they’d be part of the new additions, but now it’s unclear if they’ll join the fight at all.
