Even though the fifth season of My Hero Academia just finished airing, TOHO Animation just announced Boku no Hīrō Akademia season 6 and revealed its possible plot (story arc).
At the end of the last season 5 episode, lead character Izuku Midoriya warns about a “major incident that will shake superhuman society.”
My Hero Academia manga readers will know that this warning is connected to the “Paranormal Liberation War” arc from the original manga.
There are still repercussions of this arc in the manga, such as the large-scale war between the heroes and villains of the world. This arc also serves as the conclusion of the larger “Rise of Villains” saga in the manga.
My Hero Academia season 5 had 25 episodes and we expect the same from season 6, even though that has still not been confirmed.

As mentioned above, season 6 adapts the “Paranormal Liberation War” arc. My Hero Academia’s Paranormal Liberation War Arc is the eighteenth story arc. This arc is also the ninth in Rise of Villains saga and concludes it.
With the help of Hawks and a new source of information in Tartarus, the Heroes have all of the information they need to take down the Paranormal Liberation Front.
My Hero Academia Season 6 Cast
Even though we still don’t have an official confirmation, we believe the cast will remain more or less the same as in Season 5. There won’t be a lot of character changes, which means Daiki Yamashita is coming back for the role of Deku, Okamoto Nobuhiko and Kaji Yuki will surely reprise their roles as Bakugo and Shoto, Sakura Ayane will return as Uraraka, and Uchiyama Touki will return as Shigaraki Tomura!
