Netflix has released a creepy, mysterious teaser for the 4th season of the Stranger Things series
As Netflix announced late last night, a teaser trailer for the 4th season of the highly anticipated series Stranger Things was released today. The fresh video welcomes us to the so-called Rainbow Room, to then reveal to us a partial view of Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine) addressing a number of children. The children call him “Pope,” and he says he has planned something special for them. The video ends when he asks, “Eleven, are you listening?” which is also a very convenient name for a teaser trailer that you can watch below the article.
It’s been almost two years since Season 3 arrived on Netflix, and given the fact that the Duffer brothers are still filming Season 4, we may have to be even more patient than we expected. The delay was, of course, due to the coronavirus pandemic, although it was this that gave the series ’creative team more time to come up with something truly special for what is expected to be the penultimate season.
Details about the plot of the 04th season of the series are still shrouded in secrecy, but that’s why we know that Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd) and genre icon Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street) joined the cast, and the Duffer brothers have already given to knowledge of how we move outside of Hawkins for a significant period of time. Other new faces of the season that will be part of the standard lineup are Eduardo Franco (Booksmart) and Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great).
Already well-known actors waiting for us in the 4th season are: Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbor as Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sadie Sink as Max, Maya Thurman-Hawke as Robin, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman and Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair.
It is interesting that the description of the teaser trailer says “002/004”, so it is possible that we will have additional videos after. While there is still no official date when the new season will arrive on Netflix, Finn Wolfhard believes it will be 2022.
