After the amazing original History’s ‘Vikings,’ we are now getting a spin-off from Netflix, and we can’t wait to get it. Finally, they decided to reveal the first footage for Vikings: Valgalla on Netflix’s TUDUM presentation and surprised us with few interesting historical figures.

Valhalla will follow Viking ruler Harald Hardrada (Leo Suter), along with Old Norse religious leader Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson) and the explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), the daughter and son of Vikings Season 6 character Erik the Red (Eric Johnson).

But, even in case you for some reason didn’t watch Vikings, and you don’t want to watch them, creator Michael Hirst assures as in talk with Collider that the sequel is meant to be accessible even if you’ve never seen the original Vikings series.

Other stars of Vikings: Valhalla are Laura Berlin, Leo Suter, Bradley Freegard, Caroline Henderson and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson.
