Netflix’s ‘Black Crab’ Trailer Shows Noomi Rapace In An Icy Post-Apocalyptic World

Netflix’s 'Black Crab' Trailer

The trailer for a new Netflix Swedish movie Black Crab has arrived. Noomi Rapace (Prometheus) is a star of this post-apocalyptic movie set in a world full of ice.

Here is a synopsis for Black Crab:

“During a long, harsh winter, six soldiers embark on a covert mission across a frozen archipelago, risking their lives to transport a mysterious package that could end the war. As they enter hostile enemy territory, they have no idea what dangers lie ahead or who—if anyone—they can trust. But for speed skater turned soldier Caroline Edh, the mission is about something else entirely.”

Prometheus star Noomi Rapace, who also executive produced, stars alongside Jakob Oftebro, Dar Salim, Aliette Opheim, Ardalan Esmaili, Erik Enge, and David Dencik.

This movie is based on the book Black Crab by Jerker Virdborg. Adam Berg directed Black Crab, which he co-wrote with Pelle Rådström.

In the trailer, we can see there is some kind of war going on in a world almost completely covered under the ice. The team of six soldiers is set on a mission to retrieve a secret cargo, it looks like the daughter of Caroline Edh (Noomi Rapace), who can save the world (how??). But, as was stated at the beginning of the trailer, this is a suicide mission and there are a lot of things that don’t go as planned.

For more, it looks like we will have to wait for March 18, when Black Crab is coming to Netflix.
