New Power Fantasy “The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody” Set to Air in April 2022
From the light novel written by Myojin Kato and illustrated by Sao Mizuno comes yet another power fantasy anime, “The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody”. While the adaptation was originally announced earlier this year, the official release date was kept under wraps, until today. “The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody” is set to air in the Spring 2022 anime season, specifically, in April.
The light novel is licensed in North America by Yen Press, and they describe the plot as follows:
As the most powerful entity of all time, the Demon Lord Varvatos thinks life is a big fat snore. When he takes matters into his own hands and decides to reincarnate, he calibrates his magical strength to be perfectly average. But there is no way he could have predicted that everyone in the modern world would be weak as hell, which means he is totally overpowered once again!

On their official site, along with the release date, they have also disclosed some of the cast members, key visuals, and first PV, which you can watch down below. It will be directed by Mirai Minato (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) and the animation will be done by SILVER LINK. and Blade.
The cast will include:

- Hina Yomiya (Nodoka Yagi from Selection Project) as Ginny
- Ayaka Ohashi (Kurome from Akame ga Kill) as Slyphy
- Mie Sonozaki (Viola from One Piece) as Olivia
