The research confirms that One Piece is one of the most popular anime in almost every state in the US, while other popular anime reached the research list. The metric of popularity shows different anime series, broken down by states in the US.
One Piece, as research shows, is definitely one of the most searched anime shows in 25 states across the US, making the show one of the most popular in the country. The US apparently loves Luffy and the Straw Hat pirates, while there are other shows appreciated by the West as well. The most searched anime series in Kansas, however, was Death Note. The series following Light Yagami and his ambiguous morale is one of the most popular anime series in three states in the US.
Other most popular anime in the US turned out to be Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, My Hero Academia, Pokemon, and Sailor Moon. It isn’t strange to see that One Piece and Naruto are dominating the states, given the fact that the popular Shonen Big Three concept, that includes Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece, was forged in the west, specifically in the US in the early 2000s. My Hero Academia is also following the success of the two aforementioned, being the most popular searched anime show in four states across the US.
