New Trailer for 'Beetlejuice 2' Released, and It's an Absolute Hit!

As we have reported earlier, Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice is finally getting a sequel after 36 years of waiting, as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (informally known as Beetlejuice 2) is going to be released on September 6, 2024, in theaters around the world. The movie will see Keaton and Ryder reprise their roles alongside newcomers Jenna Ortega and Monica Bellucci. Not long ago, the first teaser trailer for the movie was released, and we can now happily announce that Warner Bros. has released the first official trailer for the movie, which you will be able to see below.

A sequel to the popular movie starring Michael Keaton as the titular troublemaker has been in the works since the late 1980s, but the originally planned sequel, Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian, was never made, and the idea was scrapped. Yet, during the early 2010s, talks of a sequel began reemerging, which came as a sort of shock, but it was finally confirmed in 2022 that the sequel was going to be made, with both Burton and Keaton returning.

As we always do, we are going to provide you with the trailer before we continue with our report, so… here it is! Enjoy!

As you can see, the trailer is truly eye-popping. Literally and metaphorically. A lot of new scenes have been revealed and we finally got to see more of the main characters, both the new ones and the old ones. The trailer definitely has us excited and we are looking forward to the movie even more than before.

As we have reported, the sequel movie will see many original cast members return, including Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara, who will be joined by Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci, Burt Gorman, and Justin Theroux. Additionally, Arthur Conti and Filipe Cates have been cast in undisclosed roles.

As for the plot, the story details are scarce as of the time of writing, but as we have said above, the film has a release date, and it’s not too far away, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out what Burton has in store for us. The movie is set to be released in less than four months, which is absolutely nothing compared to the 36 years that have passed since the first film premiered in cinemas.

That is all we have for you now, but more updates will definitely be coming your way in the upcoming weeks and months, and we on Fiction Horizon will be there to provide you with all the updates as soon as they arrive. So, be sure to keep following us for more information and updates!
