New Trailer For 'The Expanse' Season 6 Has Landed: Roci Goes On Its Last Mission!

After Amazon Prime served us a teaser for the sixth and last season of the SF series The Expanse in October, now the full trailer has finally arrived. When you watch this wonderful suspenseful trailer then you still need to be patient just a little bit because the first of a total of six episodes on Amazon Prime lands on December 10th.

It’s a shame that the story ends sooner than it is with the literary series signed by James SA Corey (Daniel Abraham, Ty Franck), but if you haven’t read the books yet then at least you have the opportunity to enjoy them, and find out what’s going on there later. So far, the seasons have mostly followed the books, so the fifth season followed the events of the fifth book – Nemesis’ Games, and as usual, somewhat stepped into the events of the sixth – the Ashes of Babylon.

The sixth season of the series will thus continue with the remaining story of the Ashes of Babylon, but it will also adapt the novella from the series – Strange Dogs (2017). The novel follows a young Lakonka who comes into contact with a pack of “dogs” who possess disturbing abilities. The trailer gives us, among other things, a first, albeit very brief, look at these creatures.

The final season of The Expanse series begins with a war within the solar system, while Marco Inaros and his Free Navy continue to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars. As war tensions and joint losses threaten to separate the Rocinante crew, Chrisjen Avasarala makes a bold move and sends former Martian Marine Bobbie Draper on a secret mission that could reverse the course of the conflict. Meanwhile, in The Belt, Drummer and what is left of her family flee after they betray Marc. And on a distant planet behind the Rings, a new force begins to rise.
