The first season was animated to perfection by the industry-renowned studio MADHOUSE, while in contrast, the second season was produced by the equally popular studio JC Staff, which received underwhelming reviews due to a dropoff in the quality of the composition and animation.

We can now only hope they will make the right choice in choosing the best-suited studio for season 3.

We also don’t have much to go on the staff side.

It has already been noted that character designer Chikashi Kubota will return for One Punch Man Season 3.

Director Shingo Natsume (Sonny Boy, Boogiepop, ACCA 13, Space Dandy,) was replaced by Chikara Sakurai (Shenmue the Animation). He served as an episode director and storyboard artist as well.

Additionally, Yoshikazu Iwanami was replaced by Shoji Hata as sound director.

There were, however, not all new people on the main staff. Character designer Chikashi Kubota (FLCL Progressive, Dragon Ball Super: Broly), series composition writer Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA 13, Boogiepop), and composer Makoto Miyazaki (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) all returned after their success on the first season.

One-Punch Man season 3 will most probably be following the Monster Association Arc, the fifteenth arc of the One-Punch Man series and the sixth arc of the Human Monster Saga.

Stay tuned to find out more, we will certainly be sharing.
