Overlord first began as a novel series back in 2010 and has since expanded to include an ongoing light novel and manga series, as well as an anime, which has now entered its fourth season. The previous episode aired on August 16, 2022. Like, every other episode so far, Episode 8 is going to be released at the same time.

Overlord Season 4, Episode 8 plot
As we prepare for what is coming up in the next episode of Overlord‘s Season 4, let us quickly recap what happened in the previous one:
The Quagoa army attacks Feo Jera’s fortress. Ainz arrives and offers help to the General, who is so desperate that he immediately agrees. Ainz’s Death Knights drive the Quagoa back, but two of them are destroyed when the Quagoa’s pack leader, Yohz, destroys the bridge they are standing on, dropping them into a bottomless abyss.
Ainz offers the Dwarf Ruling Council a Trade Alliance, as well as Ainz’s guarantee of protection. Ainz also offers to reclaim the dwarven royal capital of Feo Berkana from the Quagoa, despite the Quagoa’s numbers and a Frost Dragon living nearby, in exchange for all runesmiths relocating to the realm from him. Despite his reservations, the Council agrees. Ainz meets the runesmiths and informs them that he wants them to fully revive their craft and they gladly accept.
Gondo is touched that rune crafting, an art practiced by his family for generations, is being saved from decline. He also offers to act as a guide to the Royal Capital, in exchange for Ainz’s complicity in stealing a valuable book on runesmithing from the Royal Library. Ainz instructs Shalltear on strategic thinking in case they meet the one who killed the two Death Knights. Ainz also hopes to meet a real dragon in person.
Where to watch Overlord Season 4, Episode 8?
The only place where you can watch Overlord Season 4 on a regular basis is Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll offers the series regularly through simulcast, but you’ll have to watch it in Japanese, with English subtitles. Other streaming services do offer Overlord as well, but the episodes are not updated regularly so you won’t be able to watch the latest ones. Also, do remember that Crunchyroll does not offer Overlord episodes in every region of the world.
