Even Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts Has a Higher Kill Count than Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk in the MCU
When they battle, superheroes and other comic book characters usually cause a lot of damage. Although the superheroes don’t intend for this to occur, harm and casualties do happen regardless of their wishes. But there are other stories of heroes killing on purpose because it’s the only way they can vanquish their foes and win.
Although “no-kill” policies are embraced by superheroes like Batman and Superman, they are an exception rather than the rule. Superheroes usually don’t think twice about murdering their adversaries, be they monsters, aliens, or something else entirely.
In light of that, we are going to talk about the kill count of a very interesting character, or, more specifically, about the kill count of her version from the MCU. The character in question is Pepper Potts, a character who you wouldn’t really consider for such a list, but you’ll be surprised to find out just how her total kill count compares to that of some other major MCU characters.
The source for the data we have for you is a list from IMDb, composed by user Creedswede, who made an effort to chronicle the kill count of all major and minor MCU characters, with several important notes. Based on the data he has presented, Pepper Pott’s kill count is as follows:
- Iron Man – 1
- Iron Man 3 – 1
- Avengers: Endgame – 62
- Total kills: 64+
Additionally, she made appearances in Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Avengers: Infinity War, but she had no kills in those projects, mostly because she was not a character with an Iron Man suit in most of these projects, so her possibilities were limited (also, some of these were cameo roles).
As far as her future is concerned, she is rumored to appear in Avengers: Doomsday and Ironheart, but her kill count increasing in these movies doesn’t seem that likely. The same goes for her rumored appearance in Armor Wars, but no one knows what is actually going on with that movie, so the future is unclear on that aspect.
But, these are just rumors at this point and they are related to the future, so we’ll have to wait and see what actually happens in that aspect. We are, of course, going to update you as soon as we have any new information.
So, as you can see, Pepper Potts has killed at least 64 people in the MCU, most of which were Thanos’ henchmen killed in Endgame. This is not a large number per se, but when you compare it to some other major MCU characters – for example, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk – she has a higher kill count than the Green Goliath!
These numbers have been updated as of Deadpool & Wolverine, although Pepper Potts did not have an appearance in that movie, so we can assume that they are accurate.
