PlayStation Surprise: ‘Gears of War’ and ‘Hellblade 2’ Rumored for PS5
There’s a buzz in the gaming world about some big Xbox games possibly coming to PS5 this year. Insider NateDrake mentioned that ‘Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ and ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ might be on their way to Sony’s console.
Adding to this, Jez Cordon from Windows Central supports these claims and says we might also see ‘Gears of War: Ultimate Edition’, ‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2’, and ‘Age of Mythology’ on PS5.
Microsoft has already announced ‘DOOM: The Dark Ages’ and ‘The Outer Worlds 2’ for PS5. If these new games join the list, Microsoft could become a major publisher for Sony’s console.
There’s talk that Microsoft regrets not bringing ‘Hellblade 2’ to PS5 earlier. They might be trying to fix that now.
The idea of playing ‘Gears of War’ on PS5 is exciting. The rumored version is the Ultimate Edition of the first game, which was a remaster for Xbox One in 2015.
‘Age of Mythology’ also has fans talking. The Retold version came out last year, and bringing it to PS5 could attract strategy game lovers.
If these games do come to PS5, it shows Microsoft’s new approach to sharing its games across platforms. This could mean more choices for gamers and a shift in how console exclusives work.
While these are still rumors, the idea of Xbox games on PS5 is big news. We’ll have to wait and see if these plans become real.
