Popular Insider Reveals More Plot Details About Upcoming ‘Prince Charming’ Movie
As you might have heard, Disney is developing a new live-action film centered on Prince Charming, with Chris Hemsworth appearing in the titular role. As per the known information, the film will be directed by Paul King, known for Paddington and Wonka.
Some recent reports suggested that Daisy Edgar-Jones, best known for Twisters and Normal People, was being considered for the main female role in the movie. This casting could spark discussions due to the 15-year age difference between Hemsworth, 41, and Edgar-Jones, 26.
In light of that, DanielRPK, a popular and generally reliable Hollywood insider, has recently released a rumor on his Patreon, confirming that Edgar-Jones and Hemsworth are going to be the main characters, also revealing some new plot details.
Specific plot details remain under wraps, but DanielRPK has revealed that the Prince Charming movie will focus on an animator, played by Edgar-Jones, whose drawing of Prince Charming, played by Hemsworth, comes to life and from that point, the romance evolves.
Filming was anticipated to commence in 2025, aiming for a 2026 theatrical release, but DanielRPK claims that filming is going to start in the United Kingdom next year, which would make a 2026 release unlikely. This should be taken with a grain of salt.
As we await official casting confirmations and further information, the movie definitely looks like something that we are going to talk about in the near future.
