Report Seemingly Confirms ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Shooting Start and Cast Members

Share:

Avengers: Doomsday is set to start filming in late March in the UK, according to a recent Production Weekly listing. The film will feature several confirmed stars, including Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, and Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson (Captain America).

Tom Holland (Spider-Man) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) from the Fantastic Four: First Steps and Thunderbolts* projects are also listed, as per ComicBookMovie.com. There’s also a chance Ana de Armas might join the cast, although this is still uncertain.

While the details are mostly credible, we should be cautious since Production Weekly sometimes reports on unconfirmed rumors, like the mention of Ana de Armas. However, the rest of the information seems pretty solid, especially since filming is supposed to begin soon. More updates should come from official sources in the next few weeks.

No other information has been revealed, so sadly, we don’t know anything more than the listing provided in the tweet above. As said, the original source is generally reliable, but there is some unconfirmed information there, so it remains to be seen how the whole thing will evolve.

Doomsday is definitely going to be a major project for Marvel and everyone wants to do it right. The fact that shooting is set to start soon is definitely encouraging, as it will provide the production crew with enough time to refine the whole project and provide us with a movie we actually deserve.
