Rogue Reveals the New Name of the X-Men!
While the MCU is currently focused on the return of Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Victor Von Doom, one of Marvel’s biggest villains, Marvel’s comics are continuing on their own path as the storylines we love to follow are being continued. In this report, we are going to focus on a story about one of the most prominent X-Men members – Rogue.
Namely, the upcoming Uncanny X-Men #7 will continue the story from X-Men #8 and will see a new team of X-Men unite over a shared cause. Rogue is the one who gives the new team a new name, thus ushering in a new era in the history of the group.
The upcoming book is coming out soon, and we are going to give you a proper preview of the whole thing so that you know what to expect from the series. Of course, there are going to be images as well, so be ready!
Brought to you by Gail Simone, Edgar Salazar, David Marquez, Victor Olazaba, Matthew Wilson and Clayton Cowles, Uncanny X-Men #7 is coming out on December 11, 2024, and will provide us with some interesting storylines. The plot of the upcoming comic book has been summarized as this:
“RAID ON GRAYMALKIN” Part TWO! THE GRAYMALKIN RAID CONTINUES as two conflicting teams of X-Men come to a crossroads at Graymalkin Prison, formerly Xavier’s Institute! As if the Perimeter protocols and the prison’s mutant TRUSTEES weren’t enough, team leaders ROGUE and CYCLOPS find themselves at war over the uncertain legacy of Charles Xavier!
We have already reported how the new comics are going to continue the raid on Graymalkin Prison, which is certainly going to be a major event in the upcoming issues, as well as an epic clash between some of the most prominent members of the X-Men, as two fractions collide against each other.
Well, the one led by Rogue is actually going to get a new name, and as one of the panels (which you can check out below) reveals, the name is going to be the Louisiana X-Men. We’re sure this one is not going to stick around forever, but it is definitely an interesting moment that we wanted to stress out. Before we conclude, here are the images we have promised:
