Maybe. That is the pseudonym of the writer and illustrator of the romance fantasy manga Tales of Wedding Rings, published by Square Enix since March 25, 2014, with 14 volumes as of the time of writing. Despite all of its controversies and fan service, Tales of Wedding Rings is a very specific and interesting fantasy series with ecchi and romance elements, which explains its popularity. An anime adaptation premiered on January 6, 2024, ending on March 23, 2024, after 12 episodes. The first season is done and we can now confirm that a second season of Tales of Wedding Rings is in production!
The series has attracted some attention during the Winter 2024 season and has received relatively solid reviews, with the official synopsis by Crunchyroll, who is streaming the series internationally, revealing the following:
Satou is a high school boy in love with his best friend, Hime, an unearthly beauty from another realm. So when she moves back to her home world to get married, Sato doesn’t think twice — he follows her and crashes the wedding.
Then, after a kiss from Hime, he suddenly becomes the new groom! But here, Hime is a Ring Princess, and her husband is destined to be the Ring King: A hero of immense power.
