Runtime for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie Released Ahead of Japan Premiere

Jujutsu Kaisen is ready to prove and attest to the popularity of the manga and anime show with the announced movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The movie is about to hit the theatres in Japan, which will at the same time be the premier of the movie. After only a single season, Jujutsu Kaisen had easily become one of the most popular Shonen anime, and fans in Japan are thrilled to see the latest addition to the anime adaption.

The movie Jujutsu Kaisen is announced for a premiere in Japan on December 24th, 2021, which is when the fans will see the first Jujutsu Kaisen movie ever. The rest of the multi-million fanbase will need to wait for the movie’s release in the US and other countries. The date for the international release is yet to be confirmed and it could take place sometime in 2022.

Only a week before the official movie premiere, the official website of the movie released the runtime, which will be just under two hours. The official Jujutsu Kaisen 0 runtime is 105 minutes, so fans will have more than an hour and a half to enjoy the prequel.

The upcoming movie will follow the story of Yuuta Okkotsu, a young boy who is haunted by the ghost of his best friend Riku, who died in an accident. The movie will feature one of the most popular characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, Gojo Satoru. The second season of the anime show might also be released later in 2022, however, it may be the case that the fans won’t get to see the new manga chapters adapted to the anime series by 2023.
