Insider Reveals More Details About Ryan Coogler’s Upcoming Vampire Movie
To most readers of our site, the name Ryan Coogler will not be an unknown one. Namely, he is best known as the director of the Black Panther movies in the MCU, two highly successful movies that Coogler also co-wrote. And while everyone is expecting Coogler to come back to finish the trilogy, not that long ago, we have reported how the director is working on a new, unrelated film.
The film was reported to be a period piece focusing on vampires, which is currently set for an early 2025 release, but seeing how the production is still in the early stages, the release date might end up getting change, but that is a different issue.
If you remember our initial report, the film was simply announced with no title or any proper plot details, as most of the information we had was actually rumor-level information. Now, popular Hollywood insider DanielRPK has finally shared more details about the upcoming project.
In our earlier report, we said that it had been confirmed that Coogler’s next project will be released on March 7, 2025, in theaters around the world (seeing how production has just started, don’t be surprised if the date changes), and that it would be starring Michael B. Jordan, which meant that the two of them are going to reunite once more after working on four films previously.
At the time, other details about the project were still scarce, but we did find out something.
It was rumored that the movie was supposedly going to be a vampire movie set in the 1930s, with Michael B. Jordan playing twins. We did not know whether it would be a horror flick, a comedy, or an action flick… nothing was confirmed at the time, but popular insider DanielRPK brings more information on his Patreon account.
Namely, DanielRPK reveals that the title of the movie is going to be Sinners, which sounds appropriate, and he seemingly confirms that the initial rumors about Michael B. Jordan playing twins in the movie are, indeed, correct.
This certainly seems exciting as we are going to see more of Jordan’s exceptional acting skills. We also have a first synopsis for the movie, as per DanielRPK:
Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
As you can see, this definitely indicates that the movie could be an action/horror flick, but we still don’t have any details for you. What we do know is that the movie is still scheduled to be released early next year and that we are going to bring you all the updates as soon as they arrive!
