‘Sabrina’ and ‘Gen V’ Star Chance Perdomo (27) Dead After Motorcycle Accident

Popular young British actor Chance Perdomo has sadly died on March 30, 2024. He was just 27 years old. Perdomo died in a motorcycle accident in which he was the sole person involved. Variety speculates that the accident occurred in Los Angeles, but the exact place of death, as well as the circumstances of the accident, have not been revealed.

Perdomo was born on October 19, 1996, in Los Angeles, but moved to England with his mother when he was a chance. He held both British and American citizenship. He was one of the more popular actors of his generation, having a role in the After series, as well as in Netflix’s adaptation of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and, most recently, The Boys spin-off Gen V.

His death was confirmed by his publicist with the following statement:

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident. Authorities have advised that no other individuals were involved. His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

Perdomo’s death, of course, resulted in the production of the second season of Gen V being postponed indefinitely, as it is unknown what Amazon plans to do now that one of the series’ stars has died. The series’ producer also issued a statement following the news:

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight”

Hearing news of someone’s death is always sad, but it is even sadder to hear about the tragic death of such a young soul. May he rest in peace.
