A second season for Tomohito Oda’s Komi Can’t Communicate is set to premiere next year in April. The official website and Twitter account for the 12-episode anime that recently finished airing announced the exciting news. They even made a one-minute announcement PV featuring wallflower Shouko Komi revealing the big news.

In the short PV, Komi-san takes her time revealing the news plus a short message to fans and the audience. The one phrase, “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu,” she successfully uttered was welcomed by cheers from her friends. The phrase roughly translates to Komi looking forward to seeing everyone again next season. We’re surely excited to see more of you, Komi-san!
The anime’s first episode aired on October 6 on TV Tokyo and other prominent channels. The following day, Netlfix exclusively streamed the show in over 190 countries and eight languages. It also has subtitles in over 31 languages.
Komi Can’t Communicate is a comedy filled with heartwarming scenes of a teenage girl overcoming her extreme social anxiety with the help of her friends. If you haven’t seen the anime yet, now’s the perfect time to binge it! It’s still streaming on Netflix and other anime streaming sites.
