The upcoming anime Love of Kill is set to air in January 2022. The mystery romance anime is based on the manga under the same title written by Fe and published by Media Factory. The series has been in circulation since October 2015 and has 11 volumes.

On November 8, 2021, KADOKAWAanime uploaded Love of Kill’s first PV. You can watch the video below.

Then, on December 10, 2021, the second PV for the anime aired on the same channel. Here’s the video.

The anime stays true to the manga’s story and follows the romance between the stoic bounty hunter Chateau Dankoworth, voiced by Saori Ōnishi, and hitman Son Ryang-ha, voiced by Hiro Shimono. The unlikely pair meet during one of Chateau’s bounty missions.

Comic Natalie interviewed Saori Ōnishi and Hiro Shimono about their casting for the exciting, action-packed romance anime. The two shared that their respective roles were a first in their voice-acting career.

Not only that, this is the first time Saori and Hiro are working together on a project. When asked how their first meeting went, the voice actors said that it was not awkward at all and that they were looking forward to working together.

Saori shared with Comic Natalie that she’s been a fan of Hiro’s past works and that working with him was an honor to her. Saori said that she held this image of her coworker as a serious senior voice actor, but that immediately fell apart on their first meeting when she saw that Hiro was a lot easygoing and approachable.

The anime is confirmed to air sometime next year January. The exact premiere date should be announced sometime soon.
