Zynga’s free-to-play arena battler, ‘Star Wars: Hunters’, is set to launch on PC next year. The game, already available on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch, will enter Steam Early Access on 27th January 2025. Players can sign up now for two upcoming Steam playtests in December and January ahead of the release.

The PC version will feature visually enhanced battlefields, including higher resolution textures and shadows, and improved rendering quality. It will also support keyboard, mouse, and wireless controllers.

Yaron Leyvan, Zynga’s executive vice president of games, stated that the success of ‘Star Wars: Hunters’ on mobile and Nintendo Switch led to the decision to expand to PC. He expressed excitement about welcoming more players to Vespaara and noted that this marks a milestone for Zynga as it brings one of its games to PC for the first time.

Zynga, known for mobile and Facebook games like ‘Farmville’, ‘CSR Racing’, and ‘Words with Friends’, was acquired by Take-Two Interactive in 2022 for $12.7 billion.

‘Star Wars: Hunters’ was released on Switch, iOS, and Android on 4th June after multiple delays.
