A new year means new movies and TV series, as we know. Sure, some old ones will continue or return, but we will also see a lot of new ones there. Hulu, which is owned by Disney, knows what it means to start off a new year with a strong series, and that is going to be the topic of this report.

Namely, in it, we are going to cover the known information about an upcoming mystery series that is going to be released on Hulu early next year. The series has a promising premise and setting, as well as some major stars.

The series’ title is Paradise and in the paragraphs that follow, we are going to reveal all the known and unknown information about the series that you actually need to know and want to know ahead of the upcoming January premiere, which is certainly going to be interesting.

The series is created by Dan Fogelman, whom you may know as the person who wrote Cars and Cars 2, Tangled, Bolt, Crazy, Stupid, Love, and Last Vegas. It might seem strange to you that Fogelman is working on a sci-fi mystery, but based on everything we know about the series, Paradise is quite promising.

The series will be focused on the character of Xavier Collins, who is – according to the premise we have – a security guard of a former president, who might or might not be the character of Cal Bradford. Plot details are still scarce at this moment, but we know the basic premise and based on the poster and the information have, this sci-fi mystery is going to reveal much more below the surface.

As for the cast, we know that Sterling K. Brown is playing Xavier Collins and that James Marsden is playing Cal Bradford. Julianne Nicholson is also set to star in an yet-undisclosed role, while the other known cast members – all in undisclosed roles – include Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV.

The series will consist of a total of eight episodes, some of which have been written by Fogelman, while the others have been written by other writers. The premiere is scheduled for January 28, 2025, which is when the first three episodes of Paradise are set to air on Hulu and Disney+. We don’t know if the series is envisioned as a multi-season project or a standalone miniseries, but we hope that more information will be revealed soon.

An official trailer, showing a bit of the cast and the series’ atmosphere, has also been released, and before we conclude this article, we have decided to share the trailer with you:
