‘Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online’ Releases Season 2 Trailer and Confirms Premiere Date!
One of the most popular fantasy series of the modern era, Sword Art Online, is up and running, and the ongoing series is going to be making fans happy for years to come. Alongside the main series, a spin-off anime series titled Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online premiered in 2018 and after a successful first season, the series is getting ready for a second season, whose premiere date has been set for October 2024, as Crunchyroll officially confirmed recently.
The spin-off series is based on a spin-off light novel by Keiichi Sigsawa, also ongoing, whose plot has been summarized officially as follows:
In the world of guns and steel that is Gun Gale Online, LLENN has been a devoted, female solo player. She is obsessed with two things: donning herself entirely in pink and honing her skills with consistent game play. She soon discovers her love for hunting other players (a.k.a. PK), soon to be known as the “Pink Devil.”
Meanwhile, LLENN meets a beautiful yet mysterious player, Pitohui, and the two click right away. Doing as she is told by Pitohui, she enters the Squad Jam group battle.
The second season of the anime series was announced a while ago, but the information was scarce at the time. We knew that the main cast members would be returning, which means that you will be able to hearTomori Kusunoki as Llenn, Yoko Hikasa as Pitohui, Kazuyuki Okitsu as M, and Chinatsu Akasaki as Fukaziroh. The trailer is actually a teaser that doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming season, but we have gotten some confirmations related to the cast and crew of the upcoming season, as well as the confirmation of an October 2024 release date.
