Bleach is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo that spawned an entire multi-media franchise consisting of anime television series, two OVAs, four animated feature films, ten stage musicals, and video games. The story of Bleach follows teenage Ichigo Kurosaki who gets Soul Reaper powers from another Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki. In obtaining Soul Reaper powers, Ichigo took over his parent’s destinies and is now tasked with protecting humanity from evil spirits and guiding the souls to the afterlife.
