Blue Lock

Blue Lock is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The Manga series has been adapted into an anime television series by Eight Bit, the series is set to premiere in 2022. The story follows the Japanese national football team after their poor results in the FIFA World Cup competition. Japanese Football Union hires Ego Jinpach a successful Football coach who devised a plan to use Blue Lock in order to improve results. Blue Lock is a special training regimen that allegedly creates superb football players. Yoichi Isagi, an unknown teenage boy decides to join the program in order to gain stardom.
