My Dress-Up Darling is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda. The series has received anime adaptation as well. The story of My Dress-Up Darling revolves around Wakana Gojo who adores hina dolls and want’s to choose a career in making them to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps. Due to his hobby, he has been ostracized and mocked by his classmates. Things start to turn around when he gets closer to another classmate Marin Kitagawa, the two bond over similar hobbies, and as Wakana starts making cosplay clothes for Marin, the two develop feelings for each other.
