Peacemaker is an American superhero television series created by James Gunn for HBO Max. The series is based on DC comic’s character Peacemaker and serves as a spin-off from the Suicide Squad film released in 2021. Peacemaker is also the first tv series in DCEU. The story of Peacemaker follows Christopher Smith (Peacemaker) as he recovers from the injuries he received during the events of the Suicide Squad. After recovery Peacemaker is recruited forcefully into a mysterious black ops squad called A.R.G.U.S. that has been hunting and eliminating strange parasitic creatures who have been taking over human bodies around the world.
