Would Thanos Beat Darth Vader? Darth Vader Himself Settles the Debate!

Both Thanos and Darth Vader are among the strongest and most important villains of their respective fictional universes. Thanos is often named as Marvel’s big baddy, and he has, indeed, caused a lot of trouble in the franchise, more than some characters powerful than him. Vader, on the other hand, has been the embodiment of evil in the Star Wars franchise before his redemption in Episode VI, and while he was always second to Palpatine, Vader has been a symbol of the franchise more than the Emperor himself.
Both of them are exceptionally powerful, that cannot be denied, but who would win in a fight? We can understand that you’re interested, and it seems that the debate has been settled.
By whom? Well, by Darth Vader himself, of course! Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker and a young Darth Vader in Star Wars, recently answered fan questions, and one of them was focused on the issue at hand. If you want to know what Christensen said, keep reading!
On this episode of Actually Me, Hayden Christensen goes undercover online and replies to real comments from fans on Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok and more. What are his current hobbies? What’s his favorite Star Wars movie? Does he have a hierarchal order of watching all of the Star Wars movies?
The above piece of text is the official introduction from the GQ video featuring Hayden Christensen, which was recently released on their YouTube channel. As you can see, Christensen and GQ collaborated in such a way that Christensen went online to answer some questions, edit some information, and to provide us with some new cool information in general.
It was a fun thing to watch and we also found out a lot about the actor and his personal, as well as professional life (no, sadly, Jumper 2 is not planned, but he might be back for Ahsoka Season 2!). One of the questions he answered was related to the Thanos vs. Darth Vader debate, and here is what we found out:
Who would win, MCU Thanos or Darth Vader? No extra round bst. Thanos with his glove and Stones versus Vader and his lightsaber.
Obviously Vader, right? Definitely Vader. Vader beats everybody, always.

And that settles it, doesn’t it? According to Christensen, there is no way that Thanos would beat Darth Vader, and since he is someone who knows Vader very deeply, we think that his opinion does have some authority, right?
So, what do you think? Would Vader really be able to defeat Thanos, or would the Infinity Gauntlet surpass the Force abilities that Vader has? We would love to hear your opinion on the matter, so please let us know in the comments below!
