‘The Boys’ Producers Had to Edit Out One Character’s Huge P***s from the Series
The final episode of The Boys‘ fourth season, which aired on July 18, 2024, was so amazing that the fans needed some time to process it all and get over the epic lunacy it shows on the screen. Season Four of The Boys debuted back on June 13, 2024, and ran until July 18, 2024, as we have said. As you are already aware, the series ultimately earned a Certified Fresh classification, and the numbers were so amazing that it can be considered a smashing hit.
At the same time, the fans are still interested in the show and what it has to offer, which is why we are constantly reporting new stories, even if they cover some old moments from the series’ history. This story is a bit older, but it goes way back to Season 1 to explain how bold the cast and crew of The Boys were and how much effort had to be put into making the show that great.
The story in question concerns one major character from the franchise as a whole, a character who is often a source of mockery, but he made both the Amazon execs and the showrunners sweat during Season 1 with one epic moment of comedy brilliance!
The character we are talking about caused a problem during the shoot for an official Amazon calendar that was released in 2019. Namely, the calendar of the characters in specific poses while most of these photos were not an issue, one character caused such a problem that the producers had to edit the original photo, which we will show you below:
Believe it or not, the character in question is The Deep, a.k.a. Kevin Moskowitz. If you look at the picture quickly, you’ll probably miss it, but if you take a deeper (pun intended) look, you will see that the Deep is sporting a bulging b***r on the picture, but not just a bulging one, a very large one as well.
In the series, The Deep is supposedly well-endowed, and this picture was supposed to show that. The catch was, though, that the actor Chace Crawford wore a prosthetic penis for this shoot, which turned out to be a moment of comedy gold, and when the Amazon execs saw that, they were furious:
“[Showrunner Eric] Kripke was like, ‘We get no notes from Amazon, but the first one we got was that can’t f**king happen, we’ve got to take that out,’ he said. And we had to edit it out.”

Yeah, the CGI department had some work to do with this one, but it was a funny moment and we’re definitely glad to have brought you this story!
