The First Trailer for ‘Reacher’ Season 3 Is Here
Amazon Prime Video is gearing up for the much-anticipated return of Reacher with its third season set to premiere on February 20, 2025. The first three episodes will drop together, followed by weekly releases until March 27. The show, adapted from Lee Child’s popular novels, has been a major hit for Prime, already securing a fourth season and inspiring a spin-off currently in development.
Season 3 is based on Child’s novel Persuader, the seventh book in the Jack Reacher series. This season dives into a gripping new storyline as Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson, embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue an undercover DEA informant. According to the official synopsis, Reacher uncovers a criminal enterprise teeming with secrecy and violence while also confronting unresolved issues from his past.
The trailer teases one of the season’s most thrilling moments—a fistfight between Reacher and Paulie, a seven-foot-tall adversary portrayed by Olivier Richters. Reacher humorously comments, “He’s twice my size,” to which Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten, quips, “Last time I saw a guy twice your size was on Mount Rushmore.” The action-packed teaser hints at the intense and gritty tone fans can expect.
Several new faces join the cast this season, including Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck, Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy, Brian Tee as Quinn, Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck, Robert Montesinos as Guillermo Villanueva, and Daniel David Stewart as Steven Elliot. These additions will complement the returning cast members, such as Maria Sten as Neagley, Serinda Swan as Karla Dixon, and Shaun Sipos as David O’Donnell.
Season 2 ended on a high-stakes note, with Reacher dismantling Langston’s illegal operations and distributing $65 million from an arms deal to the families of those who fought to stop the crime ring. The finale left viewers wondering about Reacher’s next move, as he was last seen at a bus station with no destination in mind.
The series, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios, continues to be led by Nick Sanotra as showrunner. Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Don Granger, and others serve as executive producers, ensuring the show stays true to its source material while delivering compelling television.
Mark your calendars for February 20, as Reacher Season 3 promises to bring more action, suspense, and intriguing characters to the screen.
