For the new movie about the most popular Marvel hero, the script will be made by the showrunner of the series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”
Warning: the article reveals details from the final episode of the first season of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV show.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe can’t do without Captain America! Although the fate of Chris Evans in that role is revealed at the end of the last Avengers movie, Marvel is not giving up on his character and a new movie is planned!
The same day that Anthony Mackie was officially crowned the new Captain America in the final episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, news of the new film arrived. Series showrunner Malcolm Spellman and screenwriter Dalan Musson will make the script for the new film, but it has not yet been revealed who should direct the film.
The plot of the new film, which will be the first film with Mackie in the title role, is not known yet. There are enough of ideas for it, judging by the last episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.
In the finale, we find out that Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) is an evil Power Broker and that she now works for the US government where she has the opportunity to steal valuable secrets. There is also the enigmatic case of John Walker (Wyatt Russell), who went from Captain America to a US Agent and antagonist to Sam and Bucky (Sebastian Stan). Another question is what about Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and what is her story? We’ll probably close those questions in the second season of the series because the movie isn’t expected for at least another year, or two.
