‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Season 2 Finale Promo Teases Some Epic Moments

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Amazon became a massive success series despite a lot of nasty reviews and hate from the so-called “fans.” As we have previously mentioned in several of our posts, the show got a second season renewal, and both critics and audiences have praised the new season, which premiered on August 29, 2024. Since its debut, fans have been debating the second series online, with many hailing it as more lore-accurate than the first.

The second season’s penultimate episode was released on September 26, 2024, and the final episode of the season is going to premiere on October 3, 2024. The title of the episode remains unknown as of the time of writing, but Amazon has released a teaser that foreshadows an epic ending.

The short promo video teases an epic conclusion to the second season and all the fans are hoping that Amazon is going to renew the series for a third season as well after the second season finale airs. In order to prepare you for the finale, we are going to show you the promo video.

Ahead of the season finale, Adar finally triumphs, stabbing Arondir (perhaps mortally) and grabbing Galadriel’s ring, Nenya, from Elrond before throwing the Elf to the ground. Durin is unable to fulfill his promise to Elrond by sending an army of Dwarves to support the Elven ranks.

As his city collapses around him, Celebrimbor discovers that Annatar has actually been Sauron all along and that he has been duped into creating the nine rings for mortal men.

The promo reveals a lot of interesting things that build on the foundations of the penultimate episode You can see a Dark Wizard, most likely Sauron, reveal himself to the Stranger, whose identity could be confirmed in the final episode.

At the same time, Durin demands his father take off his ring and we also see Balrog released, which is an epic not to the original cinematic trilogy.

As you can see, the season finale definitely seems promising, as many interesting moments will be shown, and we are looking forward to it. The second season has been described by Amazon as follows:
