Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the biggest names in Hollywood and an actor and entertainer who has a big fanbase and a lot of influence. Starting out as a WWE star, he soon transitioned to television and movies, becoming one of the most popular action stars in the world. Known, more or less, as a laid-back guy with an open mind, The Rock is quite popular, but it seems that he is not the most pleasant guy to work with and that his work ethic isn’t that commendable.

This new report comes from the set of the upcoming Red One movie, which is set to come out on November 15, 2024 and will be a Christmas action movie with Johnson in the main role. Alongside him, the movie will star Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, and Mary Elizabeth Ellis, as well as Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons in the role of Santa Claus.

And while Amazon’s representatives are doing everything to control the damage – one of them said the following about the movie “Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks have been incredible partners on ‘Red One’—a film that audiences of all ages are going to love this holiday season. Our testing has been very strong — the reaction from CinemaCon speaks for itself — and we couldn’t have made it without Dwayne’s constant work and support. Any reporting that implies that we got to this point with him showing up seven-eight hours late to set is both ridiculous and false.” – it seems that the situation is far from ideal.

The Wrap brings us an exclusive from-the-set report which reveals that The Rock, yes, the guy who always portrays himself as the hardest worker and best professional, has been causing a lot of issues on the set of Red One and that other cast members and the crew were dissatisfied with his approach.

The movie was initially set to be released last year, but was pushed to 2024. The official reason for this was the SAG-AFTRA strike, which makes sense, but from what it seems, the strike was just a convenient camouflage for the producers. Reports are suggesting that The Rock is the major reason (although not the only one!) for these delays, as his constant tardiness – something he is well-known for – cost Amazon MGM an additional $250 million! This is an amazing sum and to lose so much money because of one person’s unprofessional behavior sounds horrible!

“It was a f–king disaster.” “Dwayne truly doesn’t give a f–k.” These are just some of the comments that The Wrap managed to get from anonymous insiders, which shed a completely different on The Rock and his on-set behavior. We know that he recently had a failed attempt to become a spearhead of the DCU with Black Adam, and he also made some controversial political comments, which we have reported about earlier, so these new reports might have some influence on the actor’s future. The Wrap also reports that the actor has personal “pee bottles” in which he urinates to save time, which is freaking out many of his colleagues. You can read the full report here.

Red One is supposed to come out later this year, as we have said. Jake Kasdan is directing from a script by Chris Morgan, which was based on a story draft by Johnson’s personal assistant, Hiram Garcia. We don’t know how it will turn out, but if you want to know, you should definitely keep following us for all the updates!
