Neil Gaiman’s amazing graphic novel series, The Sandman, gained a ton of fans since its debut back in the late 1980s, and they have been itching for the day they might see it brought to life on screen for many years. Netflix finally made it happen when the series was released in 2022 and we are now waiting, more or less patiently, for the second season of the highly-acclaimed series to premiere. After some time, Netflix has finally blessed us with an update on the series, as a teaser has been released by the streaming service, confirming new cast members and revealing that the series is “coming soon” to the platform!

This is not much, to be honest, but we have found out that the Endless will finally appear in the series together after some members had already been revealed in Season 1. They are shown in the teaser, so you will be able to see who is playing them and what they will look like.

Before we continue, here is the teaser we have promised you:

As you can see if you follow the link, the teaser is focused on the Endless, confirming that they have finally gathered and that we are going to see all of them in the upcoming season. The returning characters have been confirmed, and as for the new names, we know that Adrian Lester will be appearing as Destiny, Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium, and Barry Sloane as the Prodigal.

So far, no release date has been confirmed, but the trailer does reveal that the season is “coming soon,” so we hope that the wait won’t be too long.

The first season featured Tom Sturridge as Lord Morpheus/Dream, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire, Donna Preston as Despair, Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer Morningstar, Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, Patton Oswalt as Matthew the Raven, and David Thewlis as John Dee. The official synopsis for the series revealed the following: “After years of imprisonment, Morpheus — the King of Dreams — embarks on a journey across worlds to find what was stolen from him and restore his power.

The Sandman was well-received by both fans and critics and it was one of Netflix’s best series at the time, which is why the second season is so highly-anticipated by many fans. There are a lot of stories to be told as part of The Sandman universe, so the second season will definitely provide us with a lot of interesting content.

This is what we have for you at this point in time, but be sure to keep following us for all the updates, as we are going to bring them to you as soon as they arrive!
