Tokyo Revengers: What We Know About the New Christmas Showdown Arc

Tokyo Revengers is a rather new anime series based on a manga penned by mangaka Ken Wakui. Tokyo Revengers manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017 and was first adapted into a manga series in 2021. A total of 24 episodes of Tokyo Revengers aired from April to September 2021. Tokyo Revengers season 1 ended with a major cliffhanger which most likely means that the fandom will be thrilled with another season.

The anime show is yet to be renewed for season 2 on an official note, while the manga was adapted to a live-action movie that was released in 2021 as well. Both, anime show and live-action movie testify to the growing popularity of Tokyo Revengers manga, while the next arc for the second season should be Christmas Showdown.

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Christmas Showdown Arc Spoiler Alert

Moving forward from a major cliffhanger left at the end of the first season, the team behind the Tokyo Revengers anime show confirmed that they will produce Christmas Showdown for the next season. The following season should be an epic one with Toman getting into a conflict with a major gang that exists for ten generations.

While it is almost certain that we will get to see the Christmas Showdown arc next in production, the team didn’t reveal the date for the release of the second season. It is also not certain whether the arc will be adapted into a movie if following the treatment of Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen.
