VizMedia Announces New 'Death Note' Short Stories!

VizMedia has announced new Death Note short stories from the original creators Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. It will be released in Summer 2022!

Death Note manga has finished its run in 2006, but Death Note is still popular all around the world, thanks to the Netflix live-action movie.

This resulted in releasing Death Note: Short Stories from the original creators. They came out in Japan in February 2021, but now they are getting an English release.

Death Note: Short Stories is a compilation book by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. It contains six chapters, five of which are self-contained one-shot chapters, as well as one chapter of yonkoma that was previously published in Death Note 13: How to Read.

Short stories included in the book are:

  • “The C-Kira Story”
  • “The a-Kira Story”
  • “Four-panel Scribbles on Death Note”
  • “L—One Day”
  • “L—The Wammy’s House”
  • “The Taro Kagami Story”
