Demon Slayer Entertainment District arc doesn’t seize to surprise the fandom as the trio had accepted a mission in Yoshiwara district with Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, and the self-proclaimed God of Flashiness. We are already eight episodes into the Entertainment District arc, and Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu had already met the main antagonist of the season – Daki, an Upper Six demon and one of Muzan’s favorites. In one of the latest episodes, Tengen joined the battle against Daki, however, Daki is not alone anymore.
Daki’s brother is another threat the team needs to face, and as we’ve seen in episode Gathering, Gyutaro is another strong Upper Six demon, having killed fifteen Hashira’s by far, which is more than double in comparison to Daki. Together, they fight as one with conjoined forces. Tengen Uzui had shown us all why he is considered the fastest Hashira in his generation, as well as the second strongest, as the fans could see him measuring strength with demonic siblings.
Tanjiro managed to calm Nezuko down and put her to sleep, stopping her from eating and attacking a human after the fight with Daki. He joined Tengen against Gyutaro, and we could see Tanjiro nearly killing the demon by combining forces with the Sound Hashira. In the meantime, Inosuke and Zenitsu are fighting Daki – however, it soon becomes evident that siblings are fighting against both groups as one. Even if Tanjiro does manage to finish Gyutaro off, what will happen with Inosuke and Zenitsu who are facing Daki on the roof above them?
The next episode, the ninth in this arc, is called Killing an Upper Six Demon, but we can only guess what the outcome will be at the end of the season unless, of course, some of you read the manga and are familiar with the Entertainment District arc plot.
