Where Will Reva Go After The Obi-Wan Kenobi Finale?

The Obi-Wan Kenobi finale episode allowed us to see a redeemed Reva, who had decided to let go of her hatred so that she could now move forward and her friends could now be at peace in a better place. Nevertheless, we do know that the possibilities out there are still endless, especially because the timeline is still nine years away from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. So, where will Reva go after the Obi-Wan Kenobi finale?

At this point, Reva is free to do whatever she can in life because, as Obi-Wan said, she now has her freedom. She is also at peace in relation to what Anakin did to her friends. However, she might want to redeem herself by helping the Path out to assist Force-sensitive people away from the Empire.

The universe of Star Wars is still too big for any of us to comprehend, and that means that there are plenty of possibilities waiting around the corner. Of course, we know that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will take place right around the same time as Kenobi. Meanwhile, former Jedi Quinlan Vos is still alive. That said, let’s look at some of the possibilities for Reva.

What Happened To Reva In The Obi-Wan Kenobi Finale?

One of the most important additions to the Star Wars continuity came in the form of Reva, who made her debut in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series as the Third Sister of the Inquisitors. She was portrayed to be a brash and rebellious Inquisitor as she was eager to hunt Obi-Wan Kenobi down so that she could rise in terms of her rank. And she was even willing enough to kill the Grand Inquisitor in her hunt for the Jedi Master.

However, episode 5 of the series revealed that the reason why Reva wanted to rise as an Inquisitor and was looking for Kenobi was so that she could get close to Darth Vader. She was there during Order 66 when Anakin Skywalker slaughtered all of the younglings in the Jedi Temple. She was able to survive by hiding under the bodies of her friends but watched as Anakin killed all of the children in the Jedi Temple.

In that regard, Reva’s ultimate goal was to get as close to Vader as possible so that she could kill him and take revenge for what she did to all of her friends. But she failed to even put a scratch on the Sith Lord in their duel as Darth Vader completely dominated their fight and left her wounded.

As Reva was crawling after getting stabbed by a lightsaber, she discovered through the communicator device that Obi-Wan Kenobi that there was a boy connected to Darth Vader hiding in Tatooine. We all know that this boy was Luke Skywalker, as Reva was able to put the pieces together and realized that the person that Bail Organa was talking about in the transmission was none other than Anakin’s own son.

During the series finale, Reva was seen on Tatooine looking for Owen Lars so that she could hunt Luke down. It was clear that she was planning on taking her revenge on Anakin by killing Luke. If she couldn’t kill Darth Vader, the next best thing that she could do was to make him feel the pain she felt ten years ago.

Reva did indeed find Owen, Beru, and Luke on their farm. After a valiant defensive effort on the part of Owen and Beru, Reva was still able to break through their defenses and find Luke. She was able to knock the boy unconscious when she used the Force to pull him down. However, right at the very moment that she was about to strike him down with her lightsaber, she saw her youngling self in Luke as she realized that she was becoming Anakin Skywalker.

Instead of killing Luke, Reva brought him back to the Lars family, unconscious but alive. It was clear that she spared the boy because she didn’t want to become the monster that she had hated for ten years.

Meanwhile, Obi-Wan, who had just defeated Vader, was there to meet Reva as she was on her knees crying. She said that she couldn’t kill Luke and that she had failed her friends when she stopped herself from killing the boy. But Kenobi said that her friends would have been proud of her and were at peace with her decision.

At this moment, Reva had already dispelled her vengeful spirit because she realized that she would have become the same monster that Darth Vader was had she decided to kill Luke. And that meant that she was now set to live an entirely new life away from her life as an Inquisitor and as a vengeful former Jedi youngling.

After Reva spared Luke Skywalker and heard the right words from Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Jedi Master also told her that both of them were already free. She was no longer tethered to the Empire and to her personal vendetta against Darth Vader. So, where will Reva go after the Obi-Wan Kenobi finale?

At this point, there are simply a lot of possibilities that could happen because we still have nine more years left before the events of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and around four years before the events of Star Wars: Rebels.

That means that the timeline is still free as far as the Star Wars continuity is concerned, and that means that the possibilities for Reva’s story are still endless and full of potential. This is where a possible tie-up may happen.

During the earlier part of the Obi-Wan series, Kenobi saw in Tala’s safehouse in Mapuzo that former Jedi Master Quinlan Vos, a good friend of his, was still alive and was aiding the Path in assisting Force-sensitive people in their escape from the Empire. There is a good possibility that we will see Vos in the future, and Reva could be somewhere in that future. Quinlan Vos used to be a Jedi until he had a falling out with the Jedi order because of their philosophical differences, but we all know that his heart is in the right place.

Then there’s the fact that Cal Kestis, the star of the Star Wars Jedi video games, is still out there as well. Fall Order takes place five years after Order 66, while the sequel game, entitled Survivor, takes place ten years after Order 66, and that means that it takes place right around the same time as the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

We know for a fact that Cal Kestis’ goal was to keep the Force-sensitive people safe from the Inquisitors, and that is where he might run into the Path in his adventures in the upcoming video game. The game is set to release in 2023, and that means that we are not privy to what its storyline is.

Nevertheless, in her attempt to redeem herself for what she did as an Inquisitor, Reva might end up working with the Path. As such, we might see Reva working with Cal in the upcoming game, with Quinlan Vos getting mixed up in there as well. But these are just speculations on our part because, as mentioned, the possibilities for Reva’s next chapter in life are endless because she is now free.
