Who Will Be The New Avengers In Kang Dynasty? Predictions

kang dynasty 1

The San Diego Comic Con only allowed us to become more excited for the future of the MCU because Marvel Studios unveiled a lot of different projects that we can be excited about. Of course, while all of those projects are as good as one another, a lot more people are excited about the prospect of seeing an Avengers film for the first time since 2019 because Avengers: Kang Dynasty will be one of the two Avengers movies in Phase Six.

But fans should note that Phases Four and Five don’t have any Avengers movies because of the fact that the movies in these phases are going to build up the characters that are going to become important in the next Avengers movie, which is Kang Dynasty. In that regard, let us look at the possible Avengers that will be joining the crew during the events of the Kang Dynasty, which will be released in 2025.

Who Will Be The New Avengers In Secret Wars?

One of the things that we are going to admit is that everything right now is speculative on our point because nothing has been confirmed by Marvel Studios. On top of that, there are still a lot of different MCU movies between now and the release of Kang Dynasty. As such, we are here to look at the possible Avengers that could appear in that movie.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

antman

The upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania movie will introduce Kang the Conqueror into the MCU. Of course, we know for a fact that a variant of Kang, called He Who Remains, was introduced during Loki. But the real Kang will be in Quantumania and will serve as one of the biggest threats that the Ant Family needs to defeat. And if the rumors are correct, Kang is looking to conquer the Quantum Realm so that he can control time.

Doctor Strange

One of Doctor Strange’s roles as a Master of the Mystic Arts is to help the Sorcerer Supreme protect Earth from any threats. Of course, Strange is one of the few Avengers that were left after the events of Endgame, and that means that he could very well become a part of the Avengers in Kang Dynasty, depending on what is going to happen between now and then. But the thing that needs to be taken into consideration is that Doctor Strange might be off somewhere in another dimension to investigate the Incursion that he caused during Multiverse of Madness.

Wong

As the Sorcerer Supreme, Wong is responsible for protecting the planet against any threat. While he may not be an official member of the Avengers and is more likely a member that tags along with Doctor Strange, his status as the leader of the Masters of the Mystic Arts should be important when it comes to a huge threat like Kang. And similar to how he rallied the sorcerers against Thanos in Endgame, he might do the same during the events of Kang Dynasty against someone who is looking to conquer the planet.

Thor

We are not truly aware of what Thor is going to do after the events of Love and Thunder except for the fact that he has become content with taking care of his adopted daughter while traveling the universe to defeat bad guys. As such, him being on Earth to protect it from Kang the Conqueror might not happen, but we still believe that he could end up rejoining the Avengers in time for Kang Dynasty.

Valkyrie

After Thor decided to become a Space Viking, Valkyrie became the king of Asgard and is now the one ruling in his stead. Due to the fact that she is the leader of an entire nation, she has to do whatever it takes to protect her people from any incoming threat, and that means that Kang might be a threat to her people as well. She might end up teaming with the Avengers in an attempt to help defeat Kang, just like how she rallied the Asgardians against Thanos during the events of Endgame.

Bruce Banner/Hulk

Bruce Banner is one of the few remaining original Avengers left in the MCU today, and we know for a fact that he is now able to control his transformations almost at will. This makes him an incredibly important asset because he could use his scientific smarts as an ordinary human being or as the Hulk. And we saw during the events of Shang-Chi that he was in his human form, and that could become an important factor to consider in terms of how he will participate in any of the upcoming MCU movies, especially the Avengers films.

Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk

The upcoming She-Hulk movie is going to be the introduction story of Jennifer Walters, who ends up becoming She-Hulk after getting exposed to his cousin Bruce Banner’s blood. In that regard, there is a good reason why She-Hulk is going to be introduced into the MCU, as she has always been a popular member of the Avengers in the comics. And that could mean that she might end up becoming an Avenger by the time Kang Dynasty gets released.

Captain America

Sam Wilson is the new Captain America after he finally accepted the responsibility during the end portion of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He is also going to get his own movie entitled Captain America: New World Order, which will allow us to see him truly owning the role of Captain America. And while we don’t know what New World Order will be about, we know for sure that any person wielding the iconic Captain America shield will fight for Earth against any kind of threat.

Winter Soldier

While Bucky Barnes prefers to live his life under the radar, there is a good chance that he will join the Avengers against any upcoming threat, especially if we’re talking about Kang. That’s because of the fact that the Winter Soldier is one of the legacy characters of Captain America, and we all know that Bucky will try to live up to the legacy of his childhood best friend as best as he can so that he can honor his name.

War Machine

War Machine is another one of the older Avengers because he has been around since the time of Age of Ultron. Of course, James Rhodes has been on active duty for as long as anyone can remember, and that means that he might do whatever it takes to protect the planet from any threat. We saw War Machine in a short appearance in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where he made us see that he is still actively working for the military. And the Avengers would need a military liaison against a threat like Kang the Conqueror.

Captain Marvel

captain marvel 3

The problem with Captain Marvel is that she is always off-world, but that problem might get remedied in the upcoming The Marvels movie, where she will be working with Ms. Marvel in a plot that we still know nothing about. That said, Captain Marvel is one of the strongest Avengers, and that means that her might should be needed against a threat like Kang the Conqueror.

Shang-Chi

Shang-Chi was introduced into the MCU for a good reason, and that is probably because he will be an important member of the Avengers in the future. While the Shang-Chi movie had nothing to do with the Avengers, we did see him conversing with Bruce Banner in the post-credit scene of the film, and that means that he could be joining the gang in the future. And Kang Dynasty might become Shang-Chi’s debut as an official member of the Avengers.

Black Panther

It is incredibly tough to say whether or not Black Panther is going to be an Avenger again in the future because we are going to meet a new person donning the iconic suit in the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. But, as the protector of Wakanda, it is the Black Panther’s job to defeat anything that poses a threat to the safety of the Wakandans. That means that there’s a good chance that Black Panther, whoever the new one might be, will be an Avenger by the time Kang becomes a threat to the planet.

Shuri

There is a good chance that Shuri will be the one donning the Black Panther mantle, but there is also a good possibility that she will remain Shuri. Whatever the case may be, we did see her participating in the battle against Thanos in Endgame, and that means that she may end up joining the Avengers once more in a fight against someone that could pose a threat to the safety of the Wakandans.

Okoye

We know for a fact that Okoye has always been the protector of the Wakandan royal family, and that means that she should be there to help out either Black Panther or Shuri during the events of Kang Dynasty. And she is actually an Avenger, considering that she served as the liaison between the Avengers and the Wakandans during the events of Endgame.

Namor

namor

Namor has always been one of the characters that might not exactly be the most heroic, considering that he did betray the Illuminati in the comics. Depending on how Wakanda Forever will portray the character, we know for sure that Namor is going to be an important part of the MCU in the future. And it is quite possible that he will be joining the Avengers in the future, considering that he did join the Avengers in the comics after he was ousted from his throne as the king of Atlantis.

Blade

Similar to Shang-Chi, there is a good reason why Blade is going to get his own standalone film. We don’t know how vampires will play a role in the overall MCU world, but we do believe that there is a good chance that Blade will be joining the Avengers in the future. And it would be awesome to see a half-vampire hybrid fighting Kang the Conqueror’s forces in the events of Kang Dynasty.

Nick Fury

When it comes to some of the OG names in the MCU, Nick Fury comes to mind because he was the one responsible for putting together the entire team. Even though Fury doesn’t do a lot when compared to what the Avengers can do, he is still basically the “hype guy” that allowed everyone to band together against a common enemy. Nevertheless, due to Samuel L. Jackson’s age, we are a bit torn regarding Fury’s future in the MCU. But Kang Dynasty might end up becoming one of his final Marvel Studios films if ever he does join the Avengers against Kang the Conqueror.

Will Spider-Man Join The Avengers In Kang Dynasty?

For those who are wondering why we omitted Spider-Man from the list, that’s because there are no upcoming Spider-Man movies on the MCU slate. Of course, this is largely due to the fact that Sony calls the shots regarding Spider-Man’s live-action portrayal, and that means that Marvel Studios cannot unilaterally decide to use Spider-Man in any of its movies. This means that we would have to wait for Sony’s go signal until Peter Parker makes another MCU appearance.

parker

The thing about Spider-Man right now is that everyone forgot about his identity after the events of No Way Home. This could be a convenient way for Marvel Studios to omit him from any of the future MCU movies, depending on how the agreement with Sony pans out. But we do believe that there is still a chance that Spider-Man will eventually join the Avengers once more, and Kang Dynasty might end up becoming his entry point once more.

We know that Peter Parker is now looking to build himself up once more after the events of No Way Home, and that means that he has to work his way up as a superhero before he can join the Avengers. And it is possible that Kang Dynasty will become the launching pad he needs to once again become a prominent superhero in the world, even though he is mostly a solo hero in the comics.

Are The Young Avengers Going To Be In Kang Dynasty?

It is clear that the Marvel Studios is looking to groom younger superheroes to become the future of the MCU, especially with the introduction of new characters that could very well become the faces of the entire universe moving forward. That means that we might end up getting a Young Avengers movie or TV series sometime in the future. But will the Young Avengers be in Kang Dynasty?

As of the moment, we are unsure of how the Young Avengers will play a role in the larger scheme of things, considering that they are still superheroes working their way up the ladder. These heroes include the likes of Kate Bishop, Yelena, America Chavez, and Kamala Khan, among others. It is possible that they are going to appear in Kang Dynasty as this could be a way for them to prove themselves, but then again, we would have to wait and see what Marvel Studios has in store for the younger heroes.
