The Fans Have Ranked the 10 Worst A-List Actors

Ranker is a popular place on the Internet where people can rank whatever they want, however, they want, and whenever they want. This is always a fan-focused ranking system, and it is never officially tied to the people behind the projects in question. Recently, a large survey was organized on Ranker, whose goal was to determine the worst A-list actors and actresses of all time. The list includes more than 100 names, but in our report, we have decided to list the top ten actors and actresses from the site to provide you with better insight, combined with our original comments and opinions, which will add flavor to the whole report.

Of course, since this is indeed an important list, we have decided to report on it, so we are going to bring you the results by listing the top 10 actors and actresses on this list, from 10th to first place. We hope you’ll enjoy it!

10. Jennifer Lopez

We start off with a very strong and well-known name, eh? Well, we can debate whether Jennifer Lopez is an A-list actress (she is an A-list singer!), but the fact remains that she is overrated as an actress, and while she does have some surprisingly good appearances, her acting talent is limited at best and she definitely doesn’t deserve all the hype she is getting. Plus, there’s the annoying private life stuff we don’t want to know about…

9. Kristen Stewart

This is actually a listing we don’t agree with, which might come odd, but this would be similar to putting Robert Pattinson on the list. Sure, Twilight is a horrible abomination of a movie franchise, but Kristen Stewart has moved on since and has proven that she has real talent. She did a marvelous job portraying Lady D in Spencer, which earned her an Oscar nod… so she definitely doesn’t deserve to be on this list.

8. Miley Cyrus

Well, Hannah Montana was… well… Hannah Montana? But she was a kid back then, so we cannot take it seriously. Has she acted after that, even? We know she appeared in Two and a Half Men… but we know her more because of her controversial music and her failed relationship with one of the Hemsworth brothers. The hype is definitely too big, but we’re not even sure she can be labeled as an A-list actress…

7. Taylor Lautner

This guy is still acting? The Alpaca Meme guy? Well, he was popular back then, but unlike Stewart and Pattinson, Lautner proved that he was perfectly horrible for a perfectly horrible franchise, and while he is definitely not an A-list name (he never was, was he?), he was definitely overrated back then, so we can agree with this.

6. Madonna

She also acted, didn’t she? A long time ago… Evita wasn’t that bad. The other stuff? Mostly forgettable or… something you’d like to forget but cannot. Madonna’s private life managed to ruin her career as a respectable musician, and since she had no film career to begin with, there really wasn’t much to ruin there, so we agree that the hype about her is just too much.

5. Lena Dunham

First of all, Lena Dunham is not an A-list actress. Secondly, you have to give her some credit, don’t you? It’s not as if her works are horrible, and there really isn’t that much hype going on about her, is there? So, yeah, if you think she’s overrated, that’s fine, but she doesn’t really deserve to be on this list simply because she is not as famous and influential as the people on this list and as some who did not make it (like Lizzo or Jada Pinkett Smith).

4. Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer… Amy… Schumer. The little bunny from Bambi says that if you don’t have anything smart to say, you shouldn’t say anything at all. That is a proper description of our comments about Amy Schumer, so we’ll just say that we definitely agree with this listing, as it is thoroughly deserved.

3. James Corden

Oh, come on, this guy is not an A-list actor! He’s not even an actor! He’s not even a list! Nothing! But we do agree that he is overrated, and the gossip columns just keep adding to this, as people are more or less annoyed by James Corden. On the other hand, if we want to speak objectively, the guy acted in Cats, and that in itself is enough to earn a spot on this list, so… there’s that!

2. Amber Heard

To be fair, she did a fairly good job in that court drama with Johnny Depp… no, wait, that wasn’t a movie, was it? Amber Heard looks great, and she has some talent, but that talent is limited, and no one really knows how she managed to become an A-list actress. In the meantime, she managed to antagonize almost every moviegoer in the world, so we kind of understand how she ended up here.

1. Jaden Smith

Oh, boy… when was this guy an A-list actor, exactly? A nepo baby if you ever saw one, this guy failed to capitalize on that as well, which shows the level of bad we’re actually talking about. There is nothing redeeming about Jaden Smith, and if you don’t believe us, just watch this brilliant Key & Peele sketch. Over and out.
