For fans of the hit series Yellowstone, there’s both good news and a pinch of sadness. The highly anticipated final episodes will now air in November 2024, thanks to production delays from the writers’ and actors’ strikes.

While it’s hard to say goodbye, the Yellowstone universe isn’t fading away. Two fresh spinoffs, with the working titles “1944” and “2024,” are in the works. These new additions follow in the footsteps of successful spinoffs “1883” and “1923. Each dive into the rich history of the Dutton family, giving audiences a glimpse into different eras.

Chris McCarthy, the big boss at Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios, expressed his pride. He highlighted how Yellowstone transformed from a U.S. show with five million viewers to a global sensation with over 100 million fans. And the best part? They’re just getting started.

The charm of Yellowstone has always been its storytelling. It captivated audiences worldwide, turning it into a cultural phenomenon. Taylor Sheridan, the creative genius behind it all, deserves a round of applause.

Speaking of Taylor, fans might remember the recent buzz about Kevin Costner, one of the show’s stars. He’s exiting Yellowstone in Season 5 to focus on his upcoming Western feature, “Horizon.” Watch out for it in June and August 2024!

Now, a bit about the spinoffs. “1944” is another prequel, like “1883” and “1923,” shedding light on the Duttons in that particular year. As for “2024”, it’s hush-hush for now. However, whispers suggest fresh faces, new locations, and maybe a few familiar ones. Oh, and before I forget, Matthew McConaughey might just be in talks for a role.

Before we wrap up, shoutout to 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch for riding this rollercoaster journey with MTV Entertainment Studios. David Glasser, CEO of 101 Studios, can’t wait to bring “1944” and “2024” to us.

While it’s hard to bid farewell to Yellowstone, the promise of new adventures makes the wait worthwhile. So, mark your calendars and buckle up! Have something to add? Let us know in the comments below!
