Peacock has released the official teaser trailer for its upcoming original series Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol, which brings the adventures of young Harvard symbolist Robert Langdon, embodied in Hollywood blockbusters The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons by Tom Hanks.
In Peacock’s original series, young Langdon will be embodied by Ashley Zukerman. He will have to solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and unravel a global conspiracy.
The trailer raises the question of whether Langdon is capable of predicting the actions of his enemy to save his mentor, and perhaps the entire world, or whether his expertise in symbology and knowledge of history always leaves him two steps behind? Langdon goes from lecturer to investigator as he tries to find out what this unknown criminal mastermind wants. Langdon must find and open the ancient portal.
The main cast alongside Zuckerman consists of Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard and Beau Knapp.
When we will have the opportunity to solve the puzzles with Robert Langdon we do not know yet because Peacock has not yet announced the release date of the series.
