Yu-Gi-Oh: Go Rush – New Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime Announced
Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise confirmed that season 2 is happening for the series, while the team behind the popular anime also revealed that there is a new upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! in planning. The series celebrated its 20th anniversary and is preparing to release its eighth installation in two decades. The new anime will be titled Yu-Gi-Oh: Go Rush!
The future of the popular series was announced during Jump Festa 2022, while the official Twitter account also posted a key visual to promote the upcoming series. The new key visual revealed new characters and heroes, villains and foes, as well as some of the new monsters that we will get to see in Yu-Gi-Oh: Go Rush!
The date for the release has been confirmed, however, we still can’t be sure what arc will the new series follow. The series might act as a bridge for the current Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens waiting for the second confirmed season. It also might be a case that Go Rush series will follow a new story arc.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Go Rush! Release Date Revealed
The release date has been confirmed on Jump Festa 2022, confirming that the new series from the franchise will premier in April 2022. The series will be produced by Studio Bridge and Nobuhiro Kondou, the director of the Sevens series will also direct the upcoming Go Rush installation.
The title hints that the upcoming series might feature Rush Duels, while the series may take a turn at a completely new story in comparison to Sevens. As Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens is coming to an end, the fandom of the long-running franchise is looking forward to the next adventure in 2022.
