1883: Official Trailer For ‘Yellowstone’ Prequel Revealed

Paramount+ released the official trailer for a TV show 1883, which is a prequel series of Yellowstone, a Paramount Network’s TV series that kicked off in 2018 and released four seasons so far. The fifth season was already confirmed.

Taylor Sheridan, who co-created Yellowstone with John Linson is also a creator of 1883. The prequel is centered on the story of how the Dutton family ended up on the Motana ranch. The series is starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Billy Bob Thornton, Isabel May, and LaMonica Garrett.

Yellowstone is a neo-western drama series that debuted on Paramount Network in June 2018. The series follows Kevin Costner as John Dutton, patriarch of the Dutton family. The sixth generation of the family is already operating the Yellowstone Ranch, the largest ranch in the US. And Dutton is doing his best to defend it from everyone who wants to take control of the ranch. Recurring star Josh Lucas plays young John Dutton.

The series is also starring Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Danny Huston, Gil Birmingham, Forrie J. Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Finn Little, and Ryan Bingham. The series spawned 34 episodes through four seasons so far. The fifth season was already confirmed, and it’s aiming to premiere in November 2022. There’s one more Yellowstone episode that needs to air before the prequel 1883 debuts on December 19 on Paramount Network and Paramount+.

The series follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in Montana. The plot revolves around family drama and the bordering Native reservations and national parks.
