The limited series is based on the novel by Gillian Flynn and was directed by Jean-Marc Vallée with showrunner Marti Noxon. It aired on HBO and was produced by Blossom Films, Crazyrose, and eOne.

Created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams for Netflix, the series was produced by MRC Television and Aggregate Films. Jason Bateman directed several episodes and Chris Mundy served as showrunner for multiple seasons.

Created by Vince Gilligan for AMC and produced by Sony Pictures Television, the series includes episodes directed by Michelle MacLaren and Rian Johnson. The writers room guided a clear narrative progression and the show led to the spinoff ‘Better Call Saul’.
