The cast doesn’t stop there. Noah Centineo has signed on to play Ken, and WWE’s Roman Reigns will take on the role of Akuma. Andrew Koji, who starred in Warrior, is cast as the main character, Ryu. Musician Orville Peck is also part of the cast and will appear as Vega.

The movie is being directed by Kitao Sakurai. He’s known for his work on Bad Trip and The Eric Andre Show, so fans are expecting a unique style and tone. While the exact plot is still a secret, it’s expected that the film will draw from the classic video game storyline, which usually features international fighters facing off in intense battles, often linked to the criminal group Shadaloo and its leader, M. Bison.

The Street Fighter games have been around since 1987 and are still a major part of gaming culture. With over 55 million copies sold, the franchise remains one of the most popular fighting game series in the world.

With a cast that mixes actors, musicians, wrestlers, and comedians, this version of Street Fighter is shaping up to be something very different. Fans are curious to see how the movie will bring these characters to life, and how 50 Cent fits into the action.
