Rapper, entrepreneur & CEO of pettiness 50 Cent has once again sparked controversy online, this time targeting Jay-Z.

On Instagram, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, shared a highly offensive caricature of Jay-Z resembling the Camel cigarettes mascot Joe Cool.

The post drew more attention when 50 Cent liked a comment suggesting, “My only question: he’s next, isn’t he?” confirming his acknowledgment of the remark. True to his provocative style, 50 Cent captioned the post, “Please stop sending me stuff like this I’m not gonna post it!”

The rapper and media mogul has previously focused on Sean “Diddy” Combs, having been an executive producer on Netflix’s documentary series Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which explored Diddy’s career and alleged criminal activities. The series became a major hit for the streaming platform.

Diddy’s legal troubles have been widely publicized. Following his arrest at a New York City hotel in September 2024, his trial started on May 5, and concluded on July 2. The jury found Combs guilty on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution, involving ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, another former partner, and male sex workers.

50 Cent’s latest post appears to continue his pattern of public trolling and commentary on the lives of fellow hip-hop stars.

50 Cent’s posts always spark a lot of debate, and this one is no exception. It raises questions about the boundaries of social media trolling, even among public figures. What do you think about 50 Cent targeting Jay-Z in this way? Share your thoughts in the comments.
